Dog Jumper Size Guide

Hand-knitted jumpers may vary slightly in length, the measurements shown are an approximate guide. Although we give breed suggestions, please compare by measuring your dog's actual length as there are many variations within the same breed. The Jumper girths have a good stretch so you may find going by your dog's back length more helpful. 

** The new Aran pattern comes up wider in width in it's sizes (now an improved pattern for deeper chested breeds like Pugs, Frenchie's, Whippets & cockapoo's), so if your dog is small breed and is of very slender girth (eg a Mini Dachshund )you may need Size Small Long.  **

Measure your dog just before the curve of your dog's neck where the collar sits along the straight of their back just before the base of the tail (or where you wish your jumper to come up to on your dog's back). 

If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or different product, or wish to have a refund just return your goods in its unused condition, swing ticket attached and in original packaging within 14 days. The biggest reason our customers ask for an exchange is on sizes, so please take a few moments to measure your dog's back length before ordering - it really helps to get the right size first time as LISH does not cover the cost of your return, please check our Delivery page for any further information.

How to put it on and off

Your dog’s luxury wool jumper simply slips on over their head and front paws. At the back of the neck is a special loop hole for your dog's lead to clip on to their collar. 

When to wear it

Dog jumpers are perfect for chic trips out in Autumn, Winter, and also a good choice for lounging around in the house. If you tend to add an extra layer rather than turn on the heating when you’re at home, you can bet your dog would appreciate one too.

Caring for your dog jumper 

Your dog jumper is easy to keep clean. Try to wash it as little as possible. Wool shrugs off dried mud and stains, and is naturally odour-resistant. If it looks clean and smells fresh, it’s best not to wash it. 

If you feel it really needs a clean, gently hand wash in cool water, using a non bleach, non-bio detergent and re-shape while damp.
